| Many types of disease!I get the idea that "disease" can be many different things. Am I right in saying that you can be physically ill, plus ill in other places? Like, take a look at this notion: a virus or bacteria can make you physically ill, right? But you can be mentally ill as well! Take Mr. Loughner, for instance. he killed a few and now is judged that he cannot be tried. He has schizophrenia, right? Now I donīt know, he is innocent until proven guilty, so I donīt know. What I want to get at is that you can also be spiritually sick. Thatīs when people donīt believe in God, for example. Many types of diseases. Thatīs all. God bless you all! |
| That is true. There are many types of diseases nowadays. From physical illness to emotional illness and even spiritual illness, name it and we have it. That is why people should learn how to value their life. You should take good care of yourself so that you won't get sick. Be strong in facing challenges and seek advice if you needed to. And lastly, believe in Him. Believe in your own God that He would guide you along the way. |

One disease not mentioned so far here is alcoholism. Alcoholism is a disease recvognized by credible medical bodies such as the Amertican Medical Association. But, because of the stigma associated with this disorder and the behaviors attached to it, many consider individuals with alcoholism to be criminals, deviants, and morally corrupt. In fact individuals with alcoholism may engage in BEHAVIORS that are criminal, deviant, and immoral, but they as individuals are not. Once sober, most of the described behaviors do not recur. This addictive disease is eminetly treatable. |
