Can someone give me a detailed description of how energy healing works?

Magnetic therapy is a form of energy healing.

Your body produces small electromagnetic fields which controls your physical and mental processes. When you are hurt, your electromagnetic field is put out of balance the result is pain or inflammation.

Magnetic therapy works by applying a magnetic field to an injured area causing the capillary walls surround connective tissues to realax and increase blood flow. This results in increased oxygen being supplied to the affected area which also helps nutrients to be transmitted to the area as well.

Your result is the restoration of your normal electromagnetic field which in turn results in your pain and swelling being eased and an acceleration of healing.

I experienced this first hand when I used magnetic therapy after my foot surgery in November 2008.
