| How to tell real plant essential oils vs. synthetic How to tell real plant essential oils vs. synthetic, including Real vs. Synthetic Lavender Essential Oil 1. Greasy or non-penetrating = synthetic or cut with vegetable oil. Real plant essential oils are non-greasy and penetrate the skin within minutes. 2. Shelf life of only months or years = synthetic (fake) or cut with vegetable oil (which goes rancid). Are there any recorded allergies to synthetic essential oils vs pure essential oils ? Are the use of these essential oils governed by any law that relates to the use of these oils in product manufacture ? |

Often only the real plant essential oils will say something about being 100% plant derived, but the questionable ones will mention nothing about it. | It is so hard to figure out which ones are real plant essentials and which one are not. And for me, it is important to figure out which is which for you to really know what to buy. And besides, we do not want to buy not so good products, whatever those might be. So we better have good sense of everything and sensing which ones are fake is a good start. |
